I feel very grateful to be in the profession of dentistry where I not only promote positive health in my patients' lives, but get to know them personally by fostering a positive relationship between dentist and patient. The joy of dentistry lies for me, in getting to know each patient in depth and really listening to their concerns and needs. Finally, having the ability to create better dental health and well-being as well as making the dental experience a comforting one brings me great joy. I feel lucky to serve people in this way.
I come from a family of medical doctors, so the health and welfare of others has always been a constant in my life from the very beginning. Working to help others, educating people to a greater level of health is of utmost importance in my family. I grew up knowing I wanted to help others. It's a dream come true to make that happen for the people I meet.
I went to the University of Michigan for my undergraduate education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Biology. I received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University School of Dentistry and additionally, took classes in Prosthodontics for three extra years. Continuing education is important in dentistry and staying on top of the latest techniques and materials is always important to me.
I am a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
