Roots:
Dr. Thomas Kellogg was born in Howell, graduated from Howell High School, Michigan State University, and received his Dental Education from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1983. Dr. Kellogg is a 3rd generation dentist and practiced with his father for 5 years. He resides in Howell with his three children .
Credentials:
Dr. Kellogg has received a Fellowship and achieved Master Accredidation from the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a past faculty member with the department of Crown and Bridge at the University of Michigan Dental School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is currently a mentor with the Pride Institute, which offers graduate training for dentists.
Dr. Kellogg is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Association, Christian Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Community Involvment:
Dr. Kellogg is dedicated to serving the local community with the finest dental care. For 24 years, our office has visited local schools bringing toothbrushes, oral health and diet education. Each year we reach over 1,000 of our area's children. We have hosted many community events: Halloween alternative parties, fund raisers for the American Cancer Society. Dr. Kellogg is active in sposoring local organizations including: the Howell Recreation center, Howell High School, the Howell Jaycees and Scout troop 368. Dr. Kellogg has been very active in coaching local boy and girl's recreation basketball teams and serves on the staff of Saint Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital.
Practice Focus:
The focus of Dr. Kellogg's practice is on Esthetic Restorative and Complex Restorative Treatment. The scope of this practice includes conservative treatments to reconstructions and implants, as well as hygiene and maintenace for all patients. In addition, he has made it a personal goal to take interdisciplinary dental treatment to higher levels with new and creative techniques. |
